O I'm From Barcelona na verdade não é de Barcelona... mas o grupo formado por 29 suecos deve ter escolhido este nome para combinar com a sua música ensolarada que não tem nada haver com o clima glacial e chuvoso de Jönköping, a impronunciável cidade natal da banda.
O álbum de estréia "Let Me Introduce My Friends" tem uma sonordade que mistura Belle & Sebastian, Arcade Fire e Polyphonic Spree... as melodias vocais inspiradas em Beach Boys e outras bandas dos anos 60 e as letras simples grudam no ouvido, e sair cantando pela rua é uma consequencia quase que inevitável já na segunda audição...
"Treehouse" fala da infância e de uma casa na árvore num lugar especial...
